Hi,
I have applied 485 through a lawyer. The lawfirm sold their company to some one else. I was asked to file G28 and I didn't file for G28 yet.
I got a mail saying I was sent RFE n Feb 4th. I haven't received the letter yet. Would the RFE go to lawyer or me?
What should I do now?

I received RFE (employment verification letter) from USCIS, texas center two years ago. I was still employed by the company who filed my GC application at that time. So the company replied and my case status was updated. But my PD was not current, so my case is still pending until now.
I lost job recently, if my PD became current in early 2010, will USCIS EVL me again?
I know no one can predict how USCIS works. I just want to check if anyone had experience that was checked employment status twice?

Yours will be EB1C. You can expect to get GC in 1-2 years.
If i-140 premium processing comes back, then typically within an year. (know of 2 people who got done within 8 months... EB1-India). Right now the I-140 is going to take the longest time..

I congratulate everybody for getting the opportunity to file 485.I am truely happy for u guys.
I am one of the very few people who can not apply for 485 as I have just changed my company and labour yet has to be filed.
I just wanted to to know Is it still possible that they will bring some kind of amendment(From CIR bill) which wouldn't allow me to extend my H1 Visa after 6 years?.I am so scared when I read on numberusa that some amendments are coming back to vote.Are we really in trouble?.
I just need some lodgical reasons that it won't happen.
I know everybody is busy but don't forget about people like us.
No such proposal will be coming for another next two years for minimum. In the meantime, file your labor and and while you wait for approval, prepare your exp letters so that u r ready to file on day one after your labor is approved. bol

I am having an option of joining a new employer with whom to file LC. Company is not very big 50 employees and started in 2002.
I am very worried about the stability of the company. This kind of companies are normal or I am just unneccessarily imagining and worrying ???

Well I have been waiting for a reply, seems like no one has answered my question. Can someone please post some suggestions. urgent
You have 2 options. Either use your old H1 which is still valid (assuming u still have a valid visa stamp) and enter US (carry a latest offer letter from employer). If you use the old H1, then you will only have 2 more years of H1 time left.
You can file for a fresh H1 visa in Master's quota under consular processing and when its approved, attend the Visa interview, get a new H1 stamp, and re-enter using the fresh stamp. This way, you will get fresh 6 yrs time on H1.

Well, the first thing that I noticed was not the ceiling, but rather the cute little Shetland Sheepdog in the middle of the walkway. Of course, I love dogs (and especially Shelties)... ;)
I think if I stare at the image long enough, I can sometimes see the effect you're talking about, though it's not like that effect jumps out at me. IMHO, this picture is still a good study of geometric forms, whether or not it has issues with optical illusions. :)

Current Case Status for Form I485 set to "Document production or Oath Ceremony", does it mean that my case is pre-adjudicated ? Or, does it mean that a finger printing appointment request was issued and I succesfully responded to it? Anybody else in a similar situation?

My 4 years and 2 months on H1B will finish in this November and we are in the process of applying for an extension. I have my 140 approved and waiting for my priority date to become current.
Can I apply for 3 years extension based on my 140 approval? or do I have to apply for 2 yrs extension to finish my 6 yrs first and then eligible to apply for 3 more years (if my priority date is still not current by then?). My HR is under the second impression (2 yrs and then 3 yrs).
Also, please can you specify the USCIS rule under which it is applicable?

You said that by AUG 2008 bulletin, your dates are current.. Which date we should refer to? Date from I-140 or date from I-485?

Hello There,
I want to apply for my 3 yrs H extension using preminum processing. Can i do that by just using the email confirmation from USCIS that I-140 petition was approved? My 1-140 petition was approved in Dec,2006 and still have not recived my approval notice.
